iPhone 4S Design slightly different

Just got the new iPhone 4S today. Folks at the Apple Store told me that it was the same design as the old one, but did you know they slightly moved down the silence toggle switch on the left. Occurred to me when my case wouldn't quite fit and I compared it to the older iPhone 4. Are there any other minor tweaks that I've missed?

willDoes that meant that old cases won't work? I have not heard about changes with the physical form factor but I have heard of some battery issues (shorter life). I skimmed something that said if you have issues to try turning off the auto time zone to see if that helps. Under Settings > Location Settings > System Services > Setting Time Zone.
